Our first competition! Congratulations on all the new FD titles!

On Sunday, September 30, 2007, the Chippewa Valley Wuff Pack competed in the Balls Out flyball tournament at TCOTC in Minneapolis. They finished seventh in division five. It was their first competition as a team and the only experienced flyball dog and handler were Chewey and Roxi Statz. Chewey did great as our start dog, running between 4.5 and 5.1 every race. And Roxi did great her first time on the lights.

All of our rookie dogs and handlers did excellent: Lori Oligny with Abby, Chip and Joanna Schneider with Molly, Emmy Soborowicz with Fez, Shelly Jasinski with Charlie, and Jean Gerseth with Penny. All of them earned their Flyball Dog (FD) titles their first day of racing!

Georgie Jasinsky was our awesome boxloader for the tournament. And Russ helped with equipment.

All of the other teams at the tournament were extremely supportive, especially Nose to Nose, who came out on the floor with us every time we raced to help us with practice runs, shag balls and give us any kind of assistance we asked for.

We had a wonderful time and their coach/ trainer, Rexann Lemke couldn’t be prouder.
